The blades are made from SK5 carbon steel and feature a single bevel grind, that allows the blade to easily follow a straight edge or rule.
This high quality steel and grinding technique ensures that it not only holds an edge but is also easy to re sharpen.
The handles are made from traditional cherry wood.
NOTE: Carbon steel is the first choice of many of the finest craftsmen due to its edge holding and sharpening properties. however it must be cleaned dried and oiled to stop it from rusting.

The history:
